Leading digital sales enablement Company Showell secures funding

Showell, a leading digital sales enablement company invests €1 million euros to boost it’s international growth.

The investment was led by Trind Ventures, an early-stage Venture Capital firm that invests in European technology companies together with Entrepreneur and Investor Andreas Kemi, to accelerate the international growth of Showell Ltd.

“Showell has already proven that their business is profitable with significant revenue growth. Many well-known, global industry leading customers already use Showell. The company’s churn is very low –  confirming excellent customer satisfaction in the product’s benefits and functionality. This is very important for a SaaS subscription-based business like Showell. All that combined with an experienced and competent team, sealed the investment decision for us”, says Kimmo Irpola, Co-founder and Partner of Trind Ventures.

With Showell, sales teams quickly find, show, share and track sales presentations. By adapting fast to customer’s needs, sellers provide a winning buying experience and stay ahead of competitors. In addition, Showell generates significant savings by reducing manual work and the use of printed materials. Showell keeps sales in motion.

“Approximately 50% of our revenue comes from abroad and our current focus is to expand our international market further. The company’s headquarter is located in Finland. Showell is an excellent example of Nordic design – a combination of top usability and elegant design. From the beginning, the user experience has been at the heart of Showell. We clearly see that many digital sales tools are too difficult to use because their design philosophy is based primarily on management’s needs. Showell’s user experience is elegant, easy, and fast, while offering features for even the most demanding users.”, explains Sami Suni, CEO and Founder of Showell.

Digitalization has affected Business to Business sales a lot and buyers have easier access to more information than ever before. Sales enablement was born in the midst of the change and it is growing fast. According to ResearchAndMarkets.com’ report, sales enablement platform market is expected to grow from $1.1 billion in 2019 to $2.6 billion by 2024 at an annual growth rate of 19.8%.

From a buyer’s perspective, vast amounts of scattered information often means that finding the best product is not always easy. It’s the seller’s job to clarify and package the solution in a purposeful and holistic manner – enabling its customers to easily make purchasing decisions. Corporations benefit most from Showell when the size of their sales force is large and spread over a larger geographical area. The strong need for centralized management of sales materials and harmonized sales processes are all the more emphasized in today’s world. Showell was created to respond to this need.

Showell’s business model is subscription based and Showell’s Customers have access to a constantly evolving and updated software product. Even large companies can deploy Showell without any major initial investment or massive software development projects.

Showell was founded in 2012. The early years were spent developing the product together with the first customers. “For example, we are grateful to the tractor manufacturer Valtra (part of AGCO Corporation) – which was one of our first customers and very enthusiastic about Showell. Today, Valtra has more than 500 sales people in dozens of countries using Showell”, says Suni, delighted with their success.

“Showell’s customer base has expanded significantly to include a number of well-known Corporations and global industry market leaders. “With a product that can up-scale globally, a positive cash flow generated through sales growth and the funding we have now raised will enable us to take the next steps and keep sales in motion”, adds Suni.
